Allison Sostarich

After working in the healthcare field for a couple of years with a passion to pursue labor and delivery work, I felt God start pulling at my heart to move from south Texas to Charleston, SC. Not only was I hearing Him call me to move, but to pursue doing full-time ministry while in Charleston. After asking the question, “well, what do You mean by full time ministry?” (since it’s all full-time ministry when done unto the Lord), God opened the door to partner with FHI through this internship and I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to advance the Kingdom with this team. This season of life has felt like a rollercoaster with all its twists, turns, and loops. Interestingly, I discovered this year, after a lifetime of being too afraid to ride them, that rollercoasters are actually a blast and I now thoroughly love them, quite like this adventure with the Lord.

I have a heart and passion for the lost being found, prodigals to return home, sinners turned into saints, and orphans being called sons and daughters through authentic relationship with Jesus Christ, restoration to the Father’s heart, and being filled with the Holy Spirit as the down payment of our unmerited yet graciously given inheritance that brings us into His beautiful presence for eternity. I believe that He is the sweetest taste to the soul and everything else is bitter compared to life abundant in Him. I desire for others to taste the glory of His goodness as well and dive even deeper into relationship with Him. So as the rollercoaster continues to twist, turn and loop, I aim to be obedient to where He is calling my feet to go and am expectant and excited to see Him move in mighty ways for His glory and His Kingdom throughout this internship!
