Kaelyn Eddy

I grew up in a Christian home and I learned how to do “Christian” well.  It was not personal and based on what I “should” do.  It was empty and all out of a place of striving.  In July of 2023, I said “yes” to going on a mission trip to Zambia.  Unqualified and totally broken, I boarded a plane with no idea how the Father would meet me.  I stepped out in faith away from what was familiar and stepped into a place of growth.  The Father taught me how to just talk with Him and learn from Him.  This led to a place of experiencing pure joy for the first time.    

In 2024, I had the opportunity to return to Zambia for a month.  Little did I know, the Lord would wreck me in the best way possible.  He showed me my identity as His daughter and set my heart on fire for Him.  He gave me a passion for others to have an encounter and find their identity in Him.  He made it clear I was to graduate high school early and consider ministry options.  Unsure of the next steps, I was encouraged to apply for the FHI internship.  Blown away by the Lord’s perfect timing, I am super stoked to have this opportunity and continue this journey with Jesus.
