Parker Taylor

I was raised in a Christian home, but it wasn’t until August of 2023 that I truly encountered the Lord. Since then, He has completely transformed my life, giving me a new heart—one that longs to seek Him and love His people. Through this school, He has given me an incredible opportunity to press in, sit at His feet, and grow into the person He has called me to be. I am deeply honored and grateful for this opportunity.

I have a passion for people to know the truth and simplicity of the gospel—the life-changing power of who Jesus is and what He has done for us. My heart longs to see others step into the fullness of their identity in Christ, walking in freedom and confidence in Him. I especially have a heart for the younger generation, to see them encounter the Lord in a real and personal way, to know that their worth and purpose are found in Him alone. I desire to walk alongside others, encouraging and discipling them through the power of the Holy Spirit so they can experience the love and transformation that only He can bring.

I am beyond grateful and expectant for all that the Lord will do during my 11 months in Charleston with FHDS. While I may not know exactly where this journey will lead, I fully trust that the Lord is the author of my steps, and I am excited to walk in His plans, knowing that they are always good.
